Whether you're looking for a casual Thanksgiving meal or an elegant holiday dinner, there is a Utah restaurant ready to serve you and your family on Thursday, Nov. 28. Because Thanksgiving is one of the busiest dining days of the year, it's important to make reservations soon — even at establishments that don't usually require them. Also, prices listed do not include tax, tip or alcoholic beverages.

Salt Lake City

Elevations • 75 S. West Temple, inside the Marriott Hotel, Salt Lake City; 801-537-6019. Open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for traditional holiday meal. Adults, $28, children 12 and younger $14. Free two-hour parking with meal purchase.

Faustina • 454 E. 300 South, Salt Lake City, 801-746-4441. Serving a four-course dinner from 3 to 8 p.m. with choice of turkey, prime rib, stuffed pork loin or beef tenderloin entrees. Price is $45, wine selections available. 

Grand America Hotel's Garden Cafe • 555 S. Main, Salt Lake City; 801-258-6708. Open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Menu includes soup, choice of turkey, New York steak or smoked Parmesan risotto with sides and a dessert buffet. Adults, $45; children's buffet $15 for those 5-11; 4 and under free.

Left Fork Grill • 68 W. 3900 South, Salt Lake City; 801-266-4322. Serving holiday dinner from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Roast turkey dinner with all the sides and choice of soup or salad $15.99. Bone-in ham steak and meatloaf dinners $13.99. Also open for breakfast from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Little America Hotel, Grand Ballroom • 500 S. Main, Salt Lake City; 801-596-5700. Traditional holiday buffet served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. No reservations required. Adults $45, children 5-11, $22; 4 and under free.

Marie Callendar's • 1109 E. 3900 South Salt Lake City; 801-266-1497. Holiday meal includes soup or salad, turkey or ham, traditional sides and pie. Adults, $19.99, children, $8.99.

Oasis Cafe • 151 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City; 801-322-0404. Serving a la carte brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Prices range from $2 - $12.

Paris Bistro • 1500 E. Emerson St. (1500 South), Salt Lake City; 801-486-5585. Seatings for holiday dinner available from 4 to 9 p.m. Menu includes appetizer, soup or salad, free-range turkey with sides and dessert. Adults, $49.95, children under 8, $19.95. Additional 20 percent service charge.

Roma Ristorante • 5468 S. 900 East, Murray; 801-268-1017. Open noon to 9 p.m. Serving a four-course meal with choice of four different meat or vegetarian entrees. Prices start at $29.95, free children's menu for those 6 and younger.

Sizzler • Various locations. Serving regular menu plus special holiday turkey dinner for $9.99, adults; and $6.99 for 10 and younger. Salad bar and additional $4.99.

Texas de Brazil • 50 S. Main St., City Creek Center, Salt Lake City; 385-232-8070. From 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Serving regular Churrasco menu plus turkey, with sides and dessert available at the 50-item gourmet salad station. Cost is $42.99 per person.

Tucanos Brazilian Grill • 162 S. 400 West (The Gateway), Salt Lake City; 801-456-2550. Open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Serving regular Churrasco menu plus turkey, shrimp, fillet mignon, sides and pie. Adults, $29.99, children 7-12, $11.99; 6 and younger free.

Tucci's Cucina Italiana • 515 S. 700 East, Salt Lake City; 801-533-9111. Open from 1 to 9 p.m. Serving regular menu plus holiday specials including osso buco di maile, pork shank with garlic mashed potatoes.

South Valley/Canyons

Alta Lodge • 10230 E. Little Cottonwood Canyon Road; 801-742-3500. Open 6 to 8:30 p.m. Serving traditional dinner with appetizer, soup, salad, turkey with gravy, sides and dessert. Vegetarian option available. Adults, $45, children 7-12, $20, 4-6, $15. Tax and 15 percent service charge.

Chaabar Beyond Thai • 87 W. 7200 South, Midvale; 801-566-5100. Open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Serving regular menu plus special turkey dinner with fried squash cream puff, roast turkey, sides and homemade pumpkin spice ice cream for $15.

Christopher's Steak House and Grill • 122 Draper Parkway, Draper; 801-572-2639. Open noon to 5 p.m. serving regular menu plus holiday specials. Prices start at $15.99.

Franck's • 6264 S. Holladay Blvd., Holladay; 801-274-6264. Open noon to 6 p.m. for a four-course turkey dinner with sides. Adults $55, children 12 and younger $22.

La Caille • 9565 S. Wasatch Blvd., Sandy; 801-942-1751. Serving a holiday dinner from noon to 6:30 p.m. Includes salad or soup, family-style entrees, sides and dessert. Choices include turkey, prime rib or plank salmon. Adults, $59, children 5-12, $32; 4 and under $10. Meal also available from 5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27.

Log Haven • 6451 East Millcreek Canyon Road, Salt Lake City; 801-272-8255. Serving a four-course plated lunch from 1 to 5:30 p.m. for $47.95 per person. Menu includes turkey, salmon, New York steak and pasta entrees with traditional sides and desserts.

Mimi's Cafe • Locations in Layton, Murray, Sandy and Orem. Open 8 a.m to 8 p.m. Serving a three-course dinner with soup or salad, turkey, sides and pie. Adults, $16.99, children, $8.99.

Silver Fork Lodge and Restaurant • 11332 E. Big Cottonwood Canyon Road, Brighton; 801-533-9977. From noon to 6 p.m. get an all-you-can-eat holiday meal that includes roast turkey and ham, traditional sides and choice of dessert; $28.50.

Snowbird Ski Resort • 9600 Little Cottonwood Canyon Road, Salt Lake City; 801-933-2181. The Aerie, in The Cliff Lodge, is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is serving a holiday buffet with carving stations, classic sides and sushi. Adults $43; children 7-12, $19; 6 and under, free. The Atrium, also in The Cliff Lodge, is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and serving a buffet with carving station and classic sides. Adults $40.95; children 7-12, $17.95; 6 and under free. The Lodge Bistro will have a Thanksgiving la carte menu from 4 to 10 p.m. Adults $45; children, 12 and under $22.

Park City/Wasatch Back

Apex at Montage Deer Valley • 9100 Marsac Ave, Park City, 435-604-1300. Buffet open noon to 8 p.m. Includes turkey carving station, prime beef, lamb and salmon along with salads, sides and desserts. Adults $75, children 5-12, $30, 4 and under free.

Bistro 412 • 412 Main St., Park City; 435-649-8211. Open 4 to 9 p.m. Serving regular menu plus holiday specials for $27-$28.

The Blue Boar Inn & Restaurant • 1235 Warm Springs Road, Midway; 888-650-1400. Serving a three-course menu from noon to 6 p.m. Menu includes soup, choice of turkey, prime rib, stuffed pork chops or red trout fillet entree and dessert. Adults $45, children 12 and under $15.

Canyons Resort • 4000 Navajo Trail, Park City; 435-615-8042. Serving a harvest buffet from noon to 6 p.m. Includes meats, seafood, pasta, soups, salads, sides and desserts. Adults, $49, children 6 to 14, $19; 5 and younger free. Children's menu available.

Cisero's • 306 Main St., Park City; 435-649-5044. Open at 4 p.m. Serving three-course dinners with choice of turkey breast, short ribs, New York steak or grilled salmon. Dinners include sides and dessert. Adults, $20-$36, children 10 and younger $12-$17.

Daly's Pub and Rec at the Montage • 9100 Marsac Ave, Park City, 435-604-1300. Open 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Serving regular a la carte menu. Also, bowling, billiards and arcade open 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Daniels Summit Lodge • Hwy. 40 Daniels Summit Pass, Heber City; 800-519-9969. Seating for the holiday buffet with turkey, sides and dessert are available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Adults, $37.95, children 4-11, $18.95 and toddler 1-3, $3 plate charge.

Foundry Grill at Sundance Resort • 8841 N. Alpine Loop Road, Sundance; 801-223-4220. Turkey and prime rib carving stations along with all the sides and desserts. Served from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Adults, $42, children $18.

Glitretind at Stein Eriksen Lodge • 7700 Stein Way, Park City; 435-645-6455. Holiday buffet with meats, sides, seafood, salads and grand dessert display. Adults, $74, children 5-12, $25; children 4 and younger free.

Grub Steak Restaurant • 2093 Sidewinder Drive, Park City; 435-649-8060. Traditional holiday dinner available from 3 to 8 p.m. includes soup, choice of salad, turkey with all the sides and dessert. Adults, $26.75, children 12 and under $13.75. Regular menu will also available.

Homestead Resort • 700 N. Homestead Drive, Midway; 888-327-7220. Holiday buffet served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m Menu includes turkey, ham, prime rib, sides and desserts. Adults, $49.95, children 6-12, $32.95; 5 and younger $9.95.

Hyatt Escala Lodge • 3551 N. Escala Court, Park City; 435-940-1234. Holiday buffet open noon to 8 p.m. Menu includes turkey, ham and salmon along with salads, sides and children's favorites. Adults $45, children 4-12, $23; 3 and younger free.

Powder at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel • 2100 Frostwood Drive, Park City; 435-647-5566. Holiday buffet served from 1 to 9 p.m. Adults, $65, children, $25.

Zermatt Resort • 784 W. Resort Drive, Midway; 866-643-2015. Holiday buffet served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Menu includes turkey, ham, prime rib, sides and desserts. Adults, $49.95, children 6-12, $32.95; 5 and younger $9.95.

Ogden/Logan

Beehive Grill • 255 S. Main, Logan; 435-753-2600. Serving special turkey dinner with sides from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Regular breakfast menu available 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Snowbasin Resort • 3925 Snow Basin Road, Huntsville; 801-620-1000. Holiday buffet open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Includes turkey carving station, New York strip loin, hot sides, salads, cold items, seafood, pasta bar and deserts. Adults, $47, children 6-11, $24, 5 and under free.

Summit Hotel's Canyon Restaurant • 247 24th St. Ogden; 801-627-1190. Serving a traditional holiday with turkey, salad bar, rolls sides and desserts. Dinner from 1 to 4 p.m. Adults, $27; children 12 and under $15, 3 and under eat free. —

Meals to go

Need some help making the big dinner at home? Most grocery stores and markets offer meals-to-go. Here are some restaurants and caterers that can help, too.

Buzz coffee and tea at the Montage • 9100 Marsac Ave, Park City, 435-604-1300. Get a take-home meal for 6 to 8 people for $165. Includes turkey, gravy sides and pie. Order must be placed at least 72 hours in advance.

Cuisine Unlimited • 4641 S. Cherry St., Salt Lake City; 801-268-2332. Order just the turkey for $100 or full meals for $32.50 to $38.50 per person. Pick up 9 a.m. to noon on Nov. 28 or have it delivered for $40 in Salt Lake Valley or $55 in Park City.

Deer Valley Grocery~Cafe and Snow Park Bakery • 1375 Deer Valley Drive, Park City; 435-615-2400. Order side dishes and pies to take home. Sides $9.75-$14; pies $15-$30. Orders before Monday, Nov. 25. Pick up is Wednesday, Nov. 27, by 7 p.m.

Hearth on 25th (formerly jasoh!) • 195 25th St., 2nd Floor, Ogden; 801-399-0088. Offering holiday meals to go. Choose from half turkey, $102 for 6; roasted pheasant, $102 for 4; or Berkshire pork roast, $117 for 6. Prices include five sides, gravy, bread and dessert. Order now for pick up on Wednesday, Nov. 27.

Marie Callendar's • 1109 E. 3900 South Salt Lake City; 801-266-1497. While turkey or ham dinners with seven side dishes and a whole pie can be ordered starting at $99.99.

Market Street • University, Cottonwood, South Jordan. Pre-order holiday desserts including pumpkin pie, fresh fruit tart, raspberry almond torte and chocolate cake. Prices vary.

Mimi's Cafe • locations in Layton, Murray, Sandy and Orem. Get a trio of side dishes that serve six to eight people for $39.99. Package includes cornbread stuffing, cranberry relish and fresh broccoli.

Waldorf Astoria Hotel's Powder restaurant • 2100 Frostwood Drive, Park City; 435-647-5566. Meal for six for $250, includes soups, salads, sides and desserts.

Windy Ridge Bakery • 1250 Iron Horse Drive, Park City; 435-647-0880. Order holiday pies including maple pecan, key lime, butterscotch banana cream, mile high apple, pumpkin spice or mixed berry crumb. Deep-dish pies also available. Prices vary. Order by Nov. 24 at 4 p.m.
