Third Saturday: Printmaking • Third Saturdays are free family activity days at the museum of fine arts on the University of Utah campus. Essent ISU Long Track Speed Skating World Cup • Top skaters from around the world will vie for World Cup points in distances of 500m to 5,000m and earn starting positions for the Sochi Winter Olympics. More information, utaholympiclegacy.com/events

German Day of Remembrance • This event, held every year in Utah since 1977, honors the memory of German POWs who died in Utah. One of the speakers Sunday will be President Dieter F. Uchtdorf, a fighter pilot in the postwar German Air Force and second counselor in the LDS Church’s governing First Presidency.

TELEVISION • OK, the premise of “Almost Human” doesn’t sound all that promising — three decades in the future, a cop (Karl Urban) and his robot partner (Michael Ealy) battle bad guys. But this is actually a very promising series that’s not what you might expect. The biggest twist is that the cop is very robotic and the robot is very human.

Local sports on TV: Weber State travels to BYU for the first round of the NCAA women’s soccer playoffs (Friday, 5 p.m., BYUtv). The Utah Jazz host San Antonio (Friday, 7 p.m., ROOT) and travel to Golden State (Saturday, 8:30 p.m., Root). In men’s college basketball, BYU hosts Mount St. Mary’s (Friday, 7:30 p.m., BYUtv) and Utah hosts UC Davis (Friday, 8 p.m., P12N). And in college football, BYU hosts Idaho State (Saturday, 1 p.m., BYUtv) and Utah travels to Oregon (Saturday, 2 p.m., Fox Sports 1).
