Francisco Kjolseth | The Salt Lake Tribune Bonneville Elementary in Salt Lake City has a fun twist on their Halloween Parade as prinicipal Donna Reid, dressed as a pirate, goes classroom to classroom gathering the whole school before heading outside to walk around the block. The neighborhood parade has become very popular with parents, neighbors, and the students by giving everyone a good viewing spot to take in the fun and unique costumes.

Many Utah schools hold a Halloween parade, but Bonneville Elementary students also take their show on the road. Led by the principal, they start in the school but then march around the block, allowing parents and neighbors to get a good viewing spot to see the costumes, according to Salt Lake City School District spokesman Jason Olsen.
