No surprise here: CBS axes 'We Are Men'; 'Mike & Molly' will return shortly
Jerry O'Connell, Chris Smith, Kal Penn and Tony Shalhoub stared in the short-lived CBS comedy “We Are Men.”
In a move that surprised pretty much nobody on the face of the Earth, CBS yanked the incredibly lame sitcom "We Are Men" off its Monday-night schedule and announced that "Mike & Molly" will be returning sooner rather than later.
That's two episodes and out for "We Are Men," a show whose ratings were almost as bad as it was.
It's a little more complicated than just "M&M" replacing "WAM," however:
-- Beginning Monday, "2 Broke Girls" moves up a half hour to 7:30 p.m. MT, the slot filled by "We Are Men" for the past two weeks.
-- Also on Monday, repeats of "The Big Bang Theory" take over the 8 p.m. Time slot for three weeks.
--On Monday, Nov. 4, "Mike & Molly" returns for its third season.
Still up in the air is the fate of "Hostages," which has been performing quite poorly for CBS on Mondays at 9 p.m.
