Civics Central: Update on Tooele County, ZAP funding in Salt Lake County

Here’s your weekly roundup of what local city councils, school boards and other government entities are tackling during regularly scheduled meetings. Government agencies have until 24 hours before a meeting to post their agendas, so check back as this schedule will be updated. All meetings are open to the public, and citizens are welcome to voice their opinions during designated times. If you do wish to speak at a particular meeting, you may need to sign up in advance.

Bountiful Planning Commission • Has canceled its Tuesday, Oct. 1, meeting.

Centerville City Council • Will consider fee schedule amendments regarding park reservation fees; Tuesday, Oct. 1, 7 p.m., 250 N. Main St., Centerville. View the Centerville agenda.

Tooele City Council • Will discuss a request from Cyrus Land Investment at a work session to rezone 12 acres on the northeast corner of Second Avenue and Seventh Street, bordering the National Guard complex, from open space to light industrial; Wednesday, Oct. 2, 5 p.m., 90 S.
