Spring Mobile, the Utah authorized retailer of AT&T mobile phones, announced it has acquired A-Link Wireless, another phone retailer with locations in California, Arizona and New Mexico.

With the acquisition of A-Link's 22 stores, Spring Mobile has grown to 120 stores in 11 states, according to a statement issued this week. The company will now have stores in Los Angeles, San Diego, Tucson and Phoenix.

"As with past acquisitions, we expect to meaningfully increase sales and inventory levels, and at the same time, continue to provide the best AT&T wireless services to our customers," Jason Ellis, Spring Mobile president, said in the statement.

Headquartered in Salt Lake City, Spring Mobile began in 2001 and now employs 525 people.
