A cookie or two never hurts.
And in fact, baked goods helped a lot in the recent effort on behalf of residents evacuated as a result of last weekend’s Rockport 5 fire.
Three Silver Creek sisters — Denali, Keegan and Marlee Fitlow — got to work making cookies and lemonade they sold Thursday to raise money for the evacuees. Their effort raised $184 they donated to the Red Cross for relief efforts.
Park City’s Park Record newspaper reported the details of the Fitlow girls’ bake sale on behalf of the evacuees, who were allowed to return to their homes Monday.
