Utah Jazz unveil preseason schedule

Chris Detrick | The Salt Lake Tribune Utah Jazz power forward Derrick Favors (15) and small forward Gordon Hayward (20) are now the foundation of Utah Jazz general manager Dennis Lindsey's near-total overhaul of the team's roster.

The Utah Jazz play an eight-game 2013 preseason schedule that features three home games at EnergySolutions Arena, including the Portland Trail Blazers and former Weber State star Damian Lillard.

Utah opens its preseason at home Oct. 8 against the Golden State Warriors.

In all, the Jazz play the Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers and Trail Blazers twice each during the preseason, as well as single games against the Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors.

Utah closes out its home preseason schedule against the Clippers on Oct. 12 and the Trail Blazers on Oct. 16.

The Jazz will also play the Trail Blazers at CenturyLink Arena in Boise, Idaho, on Oct. 11. The preseason schedule wraps up with a four-game road trip that begins at Oklahoma City on Oct. 20.
