Who elects these guys?

Big Game Forever. UTA executive bonuses. Funding to "study" downtown arts project, a proposed nuclear power plant, a new prison and a Lake Powell pipeline. Nuclear waste Utahns didn't want. The worst air in the country. (Gov. Herbert's fix: "Ride the bus."). Massive UDOT budget. Million dollar hush-money payoffs. Lack of education funding. AGs John Swallow and Mark Shurtleff. Tax breaks for big business but low wages for workers.

Why do the good people of Utah keep equating Republicans with moral goodness when the record of Republicans in our state is one of corruption, cronyism, conflict of interest and finding just about any way possible to divert our taxpayer money into their pockets or those of their friends? Is the reason why people vote Republican because they are deluded into believing that the only issues that count for them are abortion and gay rights and gun control? And that it is only Republican candidates who share their views on these issues?

How can we, as a state that is predominately populated by a people who pride ourselves on our righteous living, condone the re-election of these crooks year after year?

It defies logic.
