Rod Stewart extends Las Vegas residency; not too far for Utahns

In celebration of the 50th performance of “Rod Stewart: The Hits," Rod Stewart announced that he will extend his original two-year contract at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace and will return for two more years beginning this fall.

As the two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Famer wraps his summer run of performances this week, nine new November concerts have been added from November 6 through 24.

"“I’m thrilled to add another two years,” said Stewart in a press release. “The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is literally one of the best venues in the entire world; there's not a bad seat in the house and it sounds great -- I love it there.”

Tickets will go on sale Saturday, August 3 at 11 a.m. MT for the following performances:

November: 6, 9, 10, 13, 16, 17, 20, 23, 24

Tickets for his remaining summer 2013 performances are currently on sale. Show dates include:

July: 31
August: 3, 4

Tickets may be purchased in person at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace Box Office, or by calling 1-888-9-AXSTIX (1-888-929-7849), or online by visiting or, keyword “Rod Stewart.” Orders are subject to additional service charges and fees.

Ticket prices are $49/ $69/ $99/ $165/ $250. All shows begin at 7:30 p.m.

Songs include “Maggie May,” “You Wear it Well,” “Hot Legs,” “You’re in My Heart,” “Do You Think I’m Sexy,” “Some Guys Have All the Luck,” “Young Turks” and “Forever Young.”
