Utahns are in the clear for any really unpleasant weather this week.

Sunshine is expected for most of the week even as temperatures cool off again starting Wednesday.

Eastern Utah remained under a hazardous weather outlook through Monday as isolated showers and thunderstorms might pop up amid the sunshine and warm temperatures.

Starting Tuesday, most of southern Utah will find itself under a fire weather watch.

With winds gusting up to 35 mph and relative humidity as low as 4 percent on Tuesday and Wednesday, the National Weather Service in Salt Lake City said conditions will be ripe for wildfires to erupt down south.

The quality of air statewide is expected to be good Monday and Tuesday with the Utah Department of Environmental Quality flying its “Green,” or healthy air banners at all monitoring stations.

Salt Lake City expected a high temperature Monday of 91, with 93 on Tuesday and 83 on Wednesday; Ogden looked for 90, 91 and 81 degrees, respectively; Provo 92, 93 and 86; Logan 90, 91 and 81; Wendover 91, 92 and 79; Duchesne 86, 87 and 84; Cedar City 85, 86 and 82; St. George 99, 100 and 96; and in Moab, 95 across the board.
