Motorcyclist in critical condition after downtown Salt Lake City crash

A Salt Lake City man was in critical condition Friday, the day after he crashed his motorcycle into a parked car.

Salt Lake City police Det. Veronica Montoya said the 32-year-old victim was not wearing a helmet when his westbound bike collided with the unoccupied car at 330 W. 200 South, about 8 p.m. Thursday.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
