Salt Lake City cops seek ice cream shop bandit
He didn't want two scoops or even one, let alone a sugar cone or sprinkles. He just wanted the cash.
On Thursday, Salt Lake City police were asking for the public's help in finding that knife-wielding robber of the Maggie Moo's Ice Cream shop at 1135 E. Wilmington (2220 South).
Salt Lake City police Detective Veronica Montoya said the suspect described as a white male in his 20s, about 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall, of medium build and wearing a maroon hooded sweat shirt, blue jeans and a red baseball cap with a black-and-white bill walked into the shop 2:45 p.m. Sunday.
The suspect pulled out a knife and demanded money from the cash register, got it and then fled the shop on foot.
