Wyoming Game and Fish Department biologist Craig Amadio shared this image of a Wyoming biologist holding a 52-pound, 45-inch lake trout caught in a gillnet near the Utah/Wyoming state line last week. The fish, according to Utah fisheries biologist Ryan Mosley, would have topped the Utah record by more than a pound and the Wyoming record by 2 pounds. "The fish was measured, weighed, pumped for stomach contents and released to taunt anglers for years to come," Mosley said. —
