I am certain the good people of Boston were oh so pleased that their enlightened elected leaders have done everything they can to make their metropolis one of the most heavily restricted and regulated weapons-ownership locations in the nation.

I suspect they all rested calmly, April 19 knowing that the surviving marathon bomber ran through the streets well and illegally armed while they were locked in fear inside their homes.

I am sure they felt well-protected that a well-armed National Guard trooper or a policeman could be stationed securely at every door to assure all are protected in their apparently alienated right of self-defense.

This is nuts! For those who so consistently declare that a well-armed militia only pertains to the organized police or military, just read current headlines!

Why would one need an effective assault-style weapon? Again, simply look outside your door, as the good people of Boston were not able to do as they were forced to cower, unarmed, in their own homes because of the rampage of one angry and likely deluded man.
