BYU has a chance to advance to the final of one postseason basketball tournament. Weber State has a chance to win another.
The Wildcats host East Carolina in the final of the CIT (6 p.m., CBSSN). That stands for CollegeInsider.com Tournament, which is what you get invited to if you don't make either the NCAAs or the NIT.
The Cougars are in New York City for the semifinals of the NIT. That's the National Invitation Tournament, which you go to if you don't get invited to the NCAAs. (Although when there's a below-.500 team in the NCAAs, you can certainly argue that all the best teams didn't get invited.)
BYU takes on Baylor in the first semifinal (5 p.m., ESPN2); the second semifinal matches Iowa against Maryland (7 p.m., ESPN2).
The NIT final is on Thursday.
