Arizona was as impressive as any team in the NCAA Tournament's first weekend, winning two games by a total of 40 points. The qualifier is that the No. 6-seeded Wildcats were facing Nos. 11 (Belmont) and 14 (Harvard) seeds, but the way they played still said a lot about this team.
I like their chances Thursday against No. 2 seed Ohio State in the West Region semifinals in Los Angeles. The key player is guard Mark Lyons, who was brilliant in Salt Lake City last week. If Lyons is taking good shots and scoring consistently, Arizona becomes a multidimensional team that's tough to defend.
