Hell’s Backbone Grill in Boulder has opened for the season after its annual three-month hiatus.
The remote restaurant run by two chef-owners is back to serving three meals a day — something it started last year when it added lunch after a kitchen expansion. The spring menu includes local lamb, pork and beef, along with pumpkins and apples preserved from their six-acre, organic farm. The average price of breakfast is $9, with lunch about $11 and dinner $27.50.
The grill now also sells its own mixes, including oatmeal, pancake, biscuit and red chili blends, along with its jams, granola and even dog biscuits.
