Piercy Bowler Taylor & Kern, a Las Vegas-based full-service accounting firm, has announced that Thomas Green, Ryan Schmidt, Kristen Brough and Rebecca Wiberg have joined its Salt Lake City office. They will primarily perform internal audit and risk-advisory functions for financial institutions, and in such sectors as health care, mining, multilevel marketing and technology.
Rick Craig, America First Credit Union’s past president and CEO, has been honored with the Herb Wegner Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Credit Union Association. The award is the highest honor presented by the credit union industry.
Roietta Goodwin Fulgham was recently presented the Outstanding Postsecondary Business Educator Award at the Western Business Education Association conference in Ogden. Raised in Ogden, she is the daughter of Roy and Dovie Goodwin. She taught at the Skills Center before moving to California, where she serves as a professor and co-department chair in the business technology department at American River College in Sacramento.
Jim Perkins, a native of Ogden and a 1989 graduate University of Utah, has been named executive vice president, managing director at Campbell, Harrington, and Brear Advertising Agency in York, Pa. He has more than two decades of experience working with well-known brands on both sides of the agency/client relationship.
Zions Bank, Salt Lake City, has selected three senior-level managers to serve as executive vice presidents. They also will be part of its 15-member executive management committee that oversees the strategic direction of the bank. Jacob Heugly will serve as executive vice president of corporate services. He began his career with Zions in 1998 and was chosen to direct corporate treasury management sales and strategy for Zions Bancorp in 2012. John Stillings has been named executive vice president of commercial banking. He has more than 40 years of banking experience, most recently serving as executive vice president of commercial lending. George Myers has been named executive vice president of human resources. He joined Zions Bank in 1997 and was named senior vice president of human resources in 2006.
The Utah-based law firm of Jones Waldo has announced that three attorneys have joined the firm. Lewis MIller and Clinton T. Stewart are part of the firm’s real estate department in the Salt Lake City office. Robert P.K. Mooney is with the litigation department and will work out of the Provo office.
Bob Reed of Cameron Construction has been appointed chairman of the board of governors for the South Salt Lake City Chamber of Commerce. He will serve for one year. Reed works as a business development representative.
Clyde Snow & Sessions, a Salt Lake City-based law firm, has announced the addition of two western offices, one in Los Angeles and the other in Bend, Ore. Mark L. Smith, a lawyer with experience in commercial and white-collar litigation, has joined the firm as a shareholder and will divide his time between Los Angeles and Salt Lake. Reagan Desmond, formerly affiliated with the firm, has been focusing her practice in the areas of natural resources, water and environmental law. She will serve as of counsel in Oregon.
