Pocahontas poses in the wax museum at Copper Canyon Elementary School in West Jordan, Thursday, February 21, 2013. The annual mock wax museum is a third-grade research project.
Cade Gillen, a third-grader at Copper Canyon Elementary School in West Jordan, created a mock wax figure of Dave Thomas, the founder of Wendy’s.
The creation was part of an assignment for students to research someone famous.
The Wendy’s Corp. was excited with Gillen’s creation and decided to visit the school’s mock wax museum on Thursday.
The corporate visitors brought Gillen’s class coupons for free meals at Wendy’s and free Frosties.
Students’ costumes included the Cat in the Hat, Cleopatra and other figures from history.
