Neon Trees, Imagine Dragons and The Used aren’t the only Utah County success stories. Another is the alt-country ensemble Desert Noises, which recently finished up its sixth national tour as it spent most of the last two years touring behind its 2011 album “Mountain Sea.”

In a Tribune interview, frontman Kyle Henderson — with his comrades Tyler Osmond, Patrick Boyer and Brennan Allen — said the band is getting ready for another large-scale tour, one that will take them to Ohio by April in their new 12-passenger Chevy Express van.

With a new EP under its belt — November’s “I Won’t See You” — the band is poised for success despite its unsigned status, and Henderson feels the excitement. “We love our lives,” he said. The band’s recent southern California sojourn saw them headlining the famed Los Angeles hot-spot The Hotel Cafe. But even when bad things on the road happen, the band’s mantra is “patience,” Henderson said. “We want to lift each other up rather than push [each other] down.” It looks like the lift-off the quartet is hoping for will come sooner rather than later.

Hannah Georgas and The North Valley are also on the bill.
