Stanford coach David Shaw responded to the loss of his offensive coordinator with a series of in-house moves.

Pep Hamilton took a job with the Indianapolis Colts, reuniting with former Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck. In turn, Shaw made offensive line coach Mike Bloomgren the Cardinal's new offensive coordinator. He also moved Mike Sanford Jr. from running backs to quarterbacks and receivers and moved former Stanford QB Tavita Pritchard from defense to offense, working with the running backs.

Stanford visits Utah on Oct. 12.

Shaw basically took the same approach as Oregon, only the Ducks had to replace their head coach after Chip Kelly joined the Philadelphia Eagles. Offensive coordinator Mark Helfrich was promoted to replace Kelly, while Scott Frost took Helfrich's old job.
