Tuscon, Ariz • So close.
Utah came within two missed 3-pointers by Jarred DuBois of pulling off one of the biggest upset of this college basketball season.
As it is, the Utes will have to deal with heartbreak for a second consecutive game, a 60-57 defeat to No. 3 Arizona at the McKale Center on Saturday.
Utah received 17 points from Jordan Loveridge, another great performance by Jason Washburn and overcame a 10-point second-half deficit. But they couldn’t make the shot to win it.
The Utes fall to 8-6 on the season. But they have to be encouraged by their performance on this road trip, even if they lost both games.
