Plans for tonight: Angels and carols

• Artist Amy Caron's latest "Angels" series artwork goes on display for a week, starting today, at Frida Bistro, 545 W. 200 South, Salt Lake City. Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday; and 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. and 5-10 p.m. Saturday.

• The 28th annual Christmas Carole Sing-Along, sponsored by the Larry H. Miller family, happens at EnergySolutions Arena, 301 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Robert C. Bowden conducts the Generations of Sound orchestra. Special guests include country singer Collin Raye, appearances by retired coaches Ron McBride and LaVell Edwards, and emcee Big Budah. Attendees also get a Larry H. Miller gift package and a treat. The event starts at 7. Free.
