Say goodbye to 2012 in style with a special New Years Eve dinner at one of these Utah restaurants. Make your reservations soon because Dec. 31 is one of the busiest dining evenings of the year. The prices listed below do not include tax, tip or beverages.

Bambara • 202 South Main St., Salt Lake City; 801-363-5454. Serving regular dinner menu with seasonal specials starting at 5:30 p.m. Prices vary.

Blue Boar Inn & Restaurant • 1235 Warm Springs Road, Midway; 435-654-1400. First seating at 5 p.m. is a five-course prix fixe meal for $75. The 8 p.m. seating starts with social hour followed by a seven-course prix fixe meal for $125. Includes party favors, dancing to live music and midnight toast. Wine pairings are available at each seating for an additional $50.

Cactus Red's • 2250 S. 1200 West, (inside the Comfort Suites Ogden Hotel); 801-621-1560. Regular menu plus holiday specials including 10-ounce prime rib dinner for $14.95; or baby back rib dinner for $16.95. Open Monday-Saturday, 5 to 10 p.m.; Sundays noon to 9 p.m.

Cafe Trio Cottonwood • 6405 S. 3000 East,. Holladay; 801-944-8746. Serving regular lunch and dinner menu plus holiday specials from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Cafe Trio Downtown • 680 S. 900 East, Salt Lake City; 801-533-8746. Serving regular lunch and dinner menu plus holiday specials from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Caffe Niche • 779 E. 300 South, Salt Lake City; 801-433-3380. Offering a special four-course menu for $50 per person. Courses will feature local meats, produce and fresh seafood. One seating, with reservations accepted from 6 to 7 p.m. A new classic cocktail menu will be available in addition to a new wine and beer list.

Christopher's Prime Steak House & Grill • 134 W. Pierpont Ave., Salt Lake City, 801-519-8515; and 1122 E. Draper Pkwy., Draper, 801-572-2639. Offering a beef tenderloin with 1/2 pound lobster and whipped potatoes for $39.99. Available Dec. 28-31 at both locations. Regular menu also available. Opens at 4:30 p.m.

Cucina Vanina Cafe • 1844 E. Fort Union Blvd., Cottonwood Heights; 801-938-9706. The 5:30 p.m. early seating includes a 5-course meal for $45, optional wine pairing is an additional $20, The 9:30 p.m. seating includes a six-course meal and optional wine pairings for $99.

Dojo Restaurant and Sushi Bar • 423 W. 300 South, Salt Lake City; 801-328-3333. Serving a four-course dinner for $25 includes soup or salad, choice of sushi roll, Dojo ribs or chicken katsu and dessert. Open for dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Elevations Restaurant • 75 S. West Temple, inside the Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek; 801-537-6019. Holiday dinner available for $30 a person or $50 a couple. Includes soup, salad, filet mignon with salmon, sides and dessert. Available 5 to 11 p.m.

Escala Provisions Company • 3551 North Escala Court, inside the Hyatt Escala Lodge, Park City; 435-940-1234. A buffet dinner will be served 6 to midnight. Includes seafood, salads, roasted meats, fresh bread and desserts. Adults $109. A children's buffet is available for those 12 and under $39. Live music.

Faustina • 454 E. 300 South, Salt Lake City; 801-746-4441. Four-course meal for $50 includes choice of appetizer, soup or salad, entree and dessert. Entree choices include tuna tartare, pancetta-wrapped rabbit, tuxedo scallops, herb-crusted beef tenderloin and roasted lamb rack. Wine pairings additional. Open from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Finca • 1291 S. 1100 East, Salt Lake City; 801-487-0699. Multi-course menu for $45 per person, featuring Spain's traditional 12 grapes tasting. Seating available from 5 to 10 p.m. Reservations accepted for parties of 6 or more. Regular menu also available.

Fleming's Prime Steakhouse • 20 S. 400 West Salt Lake City; 801-355-3704. Serving an all-inclusive holiday meal for $69.95 to $79.95 per person. Regular a la carte menu available from $17.95-$47.95. Seatings available form 4 to 11:15 p.m.

Fratelli Ristorante • 9236 S. Village Shop Drive (Quarry Bend Shopping Center), Sandy; 801-495-4550. Serving a five-course dinner for $40; optional wine pairing an additional $35. Reservations accepted beginning at 5 p.m.

Fresco Italian Cafe • 1513 S. 1500 East, Salt Lake City; 801-486-1300. In addition to the regular menu, there will be fresh fish specials, oysters and specialty desserts. Open 5 to 10 p.m.

Frida Bistro • 545 W. 700 South, Salt Lake City; 801-983-6692. Serving regular menu plus holiday specials.

Grub Steak • 2093 Sidewinder Dr., Park City; 435-649-8060. Three-course dinner for $49.75 includes salad or soup, prime rib with lobster tail, sides and dessert. Regular menu also available. Served from 5 to 11 p.m.

Harley and Buck's • 3900 N. Wolf Creek Dr., Eden; 801-745-2060. Five-course dinner available from 5 to 9 p.m. Includes, appetizer, soup, salad, choice of entree and dessert. Options include chicken $40; prime rib with king crab, $52; and half-pound lobster tail, $59.

Harvest Restaurant at Thanksgiving Point • 3003 N. Thanksgiving Way, Lehi; 801-768-4990. Regular dinner and holiday specials served from 5 to 9 p.m. Prices $17 and up.

La Caille • 9565 Wasatch Blvd., Sandy; 801-942-1751. Special five-course dinner served from 4 to 9 p.m. Menu includes lump crab sliders, lobster bisque, seared scallops, Muscovy duck confit, Kurobuta pork short ribs and Wagyu ribeye. Cost is $95. Wine pairings an additional $45.

Log Haven Restaurant • 6451 E. Millcreek Canyon Rd., Salt Lake City; 801-272-8255. Serving regular dinner menu plus holiday specials from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Live music from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Lugano • 3364 S. 2300 East, Salt Lake City; 801-412-9994. Serving a five-course set meal, with options for each course. Dinner is $59 per person, with optional four-course Northern Italian wine pairing available for $39. Seatings available from 4:45 to 10 p.m.

Martine Cafe • 22 E. 100 South, Salt Lake City; 801-363-9328. Offering a four-course dinner for $60. Seating available from 5 to 10 p.m.

Oasis Cafe • 151 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City; 801-322-0404. Beginning at 5 p.m., the restaurant will serve a four-course prix fixe menu for $37. Includes appetizer, soup or salad, entree and dessert. Entree choices include red scallops, roasted filet mignon or herb crusted chicken breast.

Pago • 878 S. 900 East, Salt Lake City; 801-532-0777. Multi-course tasting menu available from 5 to 10 p.m.; cost is $60 per person. Each course has several options including oyster Brie bisque, steak Oscar and roasted pear tart. Wine and beverages additional.

Paris Bistro • 1500 S. Emerson (1500 East), Salt Lake City; 801-486-5586. Offering a five-course Parisian menu with choices for each course. Cost is $69.99 per person, does not include tax or a 20 percent service charge. Reservations accepted from 6 to 10:30 p.m. Regular menu not available.

Ruth's Diner • 4160 Emigration Canyon Rd., Salt Lake City; 801 582-5807. Serving regular menu from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Shabu • 442 Main St., Park City; 435-645-7253. Serving a five-course menu for $125. Reservations available beginning at 5 p.m. Menu includes diver scallops, braised Korobuta pork cheeks, Wagyu beef and profiteroles with house-made ginger ice cream and chocolate coconut sauce.

Silver Fork Lodge • 11332 E. Big Cottonwood Canyon Rd., Brighton; 888-649-9551. Serving regular menu and holiday specials from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Prices $12-$34.

Slopes • 2100 Frostwood Dr., inside the Waldorf-Astoria, Park City; 435-647-5566. Seatings available at 5 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. for a five-course holiday meal. Adults, $110, children under 12, $35. Wine pairings an additional $25.

Snowbird Ski Resort • 960 Little Cottonwood Canyon Rd., Salt Lake City; 801-933-2181. The Aerie, inside the Cliff Lodge, will have special set-priced dinners. The first seating at 5 p.m. includes a five-course dinner for $75 with several options for each course. The second seating at 8:15 p.m. costs $95 and includes six courses with several options for each course. Children's menu available. The Lodge Bistro will have an a la carte holiday menu from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Starters from $8-$11; entrees $22-$47.

Spin Cafe • 220 North Main St. Heber City; 435-654-0251. Serving regular dinner menu plus Italian-themed specials from $17.95 to $29.95 including Tuscan rib eye steak, spaghetti with grilled shrimp and Lenticchie de Capadonna, New Year's lentil soup. Seating available from 5 to 9 p.m.

Squatters Pub • 147 West Broadway Salt Lake City; 801-363-2739. Serving regular menu as well as a grilled salmon special with quinoa and vegetables for $14.99

Tin Angel Cafe • 365 W. 400 South, Salt Lake City; 801-328-4155. Serving its four-course "black-out" dinner, with one course served blind-folded. Available Friday, Saturday and Monday, Dec. 28, 29 and 31. Cost is $40 per person, wine pairings are an additional $20.13.

Tucanos Brazilian Grill • 162 S. 400 West, (The Gateway) Salt Lake City; 801-456-2550. A full Brazilian churrasco begins at 10 p.m. includes regular menu plus steak, shrimp and salmon specials. Continues through midnight with music, dancing, special desserts, non-alcoholic drinks and party favors. Adults, $35, children 7-12, $14. Regular dinner plus specials served from 3 to 8 p.m. Adults, $25.95; children 7-12, $12.95, 6 and under free.

Tucci's Cucina Italiana • 515 S. 700 East, Salt Lake City; 801-533-9111. Serving regular menu and holiday specials including New Zealand lamb chops with pesto and mushroom risotto. Prices start at $10.99. Open from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Union Grill • 2501 Wall Ave., Ogden; 801-621-2830. Get a special three-course meal for $40 per person Dec. 28 - 3a. Meal is available from 4 p.m. to close and includes soup or salad, crab legs with beef tenderloin and sides; caramel bread pudding for dessert.

Wasatch Brew Pub • 250 Main St., Park City; 435-649-0900. Serving regular menu as well as a grilled salmon special with quinoa and vegetables for $14.99

Wild Grape Bistro • 481 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City; 801-746-5565. Serving regular dinner, plus an optional "dinner for two" from 5 to 9 p.m.

Wolf Mountain Resort • 3567 Nordic Valley Way Eden; 801-745-3511. From 4 to 9 p.m. families can enjoy dinner and a horse-drawn sleigh ride for $15 per person. At 9 p.m. watch the free torch light parade and fireworks.

Z's Steak and Chop Haus • 784 Resort Dr., at Zermatt Resort, Midway; 435-657-0180. Serving regular menu and steaks and seafood specials from 5 to 10 p.m. Prices $8 to $48. Zermatt Resort party in the Matterhorn Ballroom starts at 8 p.m. with live music, gourmet appetizers and cash bar. Couples, $99, children 5-12, $19.95. Reservations required.
