Talent doesn’t trump everything. Winning takes more. Titles demand leadership and accountability.

The MVPs and all-state players of the 2012 girls’ soccer season understood this notion. They found ways to shape vision and guide growth for some of the state’s top programs.

There are different methods of leadership: Some simply set a standard with their work ethic, while others were more vocal.

It was in pursuit of the same goal: a unified team, a perfect season, something to have pride in for years to come.
