The Groovefest Rummage Sale began in 2010 as part of the effort of raising much-needed funds that would go directly to paying the artistry who perform at the annual Cedar City event. The rummage sale's success has been so overwhelming that organizers, say the festival's officials, that they decided to continue the sale as an annual event.

The 11th annual Groovefest will be held next year from June 24 through June 30 in downtown Cedar City.

A children's version of the festival is being planned. The 2013 Groovefest will once again be joined by the Cedar City Arts Festival and be presented together on June 28 and 29.

Proceeds from the rummage and bake sales will not only supplement the many costs that are required to put on a festival such as Groovefest, but it will create awareness for the annual music and art event.

The Groovefest Rummage and Bake Sale will be held on December 8 at St. Jude's Episcopal Church at 70 N. 200 W. in Cedar City, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Questions about the Groovefest Rummage and Bake Sale can be answered by calling Tim Cretsinger at 435-867-9800.
