Priced out of college
I am concerned about rising tuition costs at America's colleges and universities. As a student at a Utah university, my tuition costs around $2,800 a semester, not including food, rent, bills, etc.
With tuition cost going higher, it is a lot harder for high school graduates, or anyone else, to further their education. If more students speak out about the impact of tuition costs, it would show government leaders how many students struggle with never-ending tuition increases.
If the government were willing to lower tuition costs, more people would be interested in attending college. The government wants as many people as possible to attend college, but higher tuition costs hold them back.
To fix this problem, the government should contribute more of the nation's tax money for higher education. That way, the cost of tuition will be lowered and more people would have a chance to attend college.
