Energy & Exploration Partners Inc., • Fort Worth, Texas, 15.8 million shares, priced $14 to $16, managed by Canaccord Genuity and Johnson Rice. Proposed NYSE symbol ENXP. Business: Oil and gas E&P focused on unconventional resources.

Ruckus Wireless Inc. • Sunnyvale, Calif., 8.4 million shares, priced $13 to $15, managed by Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and Deutsche Bank. Proposed NYSE symbol RKUS. Business: Provides carrier-class Wi-Fi systems to telecoms and enterprises.

Silvercrest Asset Management Group • New York, 4.6 million class A shares, priced $11 to $13, managed by Sandler O'Neill and Raymond James. Proposed Nasdaq symbol SAMG. Business: Investment company with $11 billion in assets under management for ultra high net worth individuals.

Tuesday

Instruction • Bank of Utah is offering a low-cost training program on QuickBooks for business owners and bookkeepers. The session will run from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Eide Bailly, 5929 S. Fashion Point Drive, Suite 300, Ogden. Cost of the class is $65, and attendees are asked to register by calling 1-801-409-5172, or emailing akjohnson@bankofutah.com.

Symposium • Members of Delta Mu Delta, the international student honor society in business at Westminster College, will host a fall symposium, "Redefine the Bottom Line: The Rise of Social Enterprise." A panel of social entrepreneurs will discuss their experiences with creating, operating and funding social enterprises. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Gore School of Business Auditorium at Westminster College, 1840 S. 1300 East, Salt Lake City. The event is free and open to the public.

Friday

Presentation • Salt Lake Community College will present Jorge A. Vanegas, an expert in environmental sustainability and advanced project delivery strategies. Vanegas' presentation will discuss how people can use daydreaming, "flow" and progressive relaxation exercises as key elements for generating ideas and knowledge. The event will run from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Student Event Center at the college's Taylorsville Redwood Campus, 4600 S. Redwood Road. The event is free and open to the public.
