The pin trade was booming for Ryan Randolph at the Utah Democratic Party's party Tuesday night at the Sheraton.

Randolph had a table full of Barack Obama campaign buttons for sale — $3 each, or two for $5 — outside the main ballroom, and he reported brisk business for anything with both President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden on it.

Randolph did face some limitations, he said. “Everything had to be union-made,” he said.
