Election night coverage knocks out regular, prime-time programming on CBS/Ch. 2, ABC/Ch. 4, NBC/Ch. 5, PBS/Ch. 7 and Fox/Ch. 13.

The broadcast networks begin their coverage at 7 p.m. and go until ... whenever

And, of course, CNN, Current, FNC and MSNBC are going to be on the air morning, noon and night talking about this before there's anything to talk about and long after everything has been decided.

Local viewers - even those with Comcast cable - will get to see The Daily Show (9 p.m., Comedy Central) and The Colbert Report (9:30 p.m., Comedy Central) live on election night.

The title of this episode of "The Daily Show" is "Election Night 2012: This Ends Now."

And the title of this episode of "The Colbert Report" is "Election 2012: A Nation Votes, Ohio Decides; The Re-Presidenting of America: Who Will Replace Obama? '12."

Elsewhere on TV ...

College football (6 p.m., ESPN2): Ball State at Toledo

Sons of Anarchy (11 p.m., FX): Jax gets closer to the truth.

Underemployed (11 p.m., MTV): Lou and Raviva fight over money.
