• The X-Dance Action Sports Film Festival starts a four-day run at The Depot, 400 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Screenings start at 1 p.m. today, and finish with a launch party at 9:30 p.m. — with more events Friday, Saturday and Sunday. • Bluegrass band The Infamous Stringdusters performs at The State Room, 638 S. State St., Salt Lake City. Opening act: Lake Street Dive. Show starts at 8. Tickets are $17, at the venue’s website.
