The most famous song the frontman of the indie-pop duo Electric Guest has written isn't in the band's rotation. Asa Taccone won an Emmy for co-writing "Dick in a Box," the Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg joke song that became a viral hit after it debuted on "Saturday Night Live" in 2006. (How did he get the gig? Taccone's brother is Jorma Taccone, one-third of Samberg's collaborative comedic group The Lonely Island.) Now, with partner Matthew "Cornbread" Compton, Taccone's priority is performing eclectic songs from Electric Guest's debut album "Mondo," which was produced by Danger Mouse. In a phone interview, Taccone said he got the famed producer to helm the genre-spanning project because he was renting a room in Danger Mouse's house, and the producer liked what he heard. "[Danger Mouse] convinced me it was good," Taccone said. No, Line & Circle opens. When • Wednesday, 9 p.m.Where • Urban Lounge, 241 S. 500 East, Salt Lake CityTickets • $10 at 24Tix.com
