Noah Allen, a 6-foot-7 small forward from Palma High in Salinas California, visited Washington State this weekend.

He didn't commit.

That's good news for Utah fans. Allen is perhaps the top remaining recruiting target for the Utes. He recently de-committed from Harvard and is currently deciding where he will spend his college years.

Allen has options, with offers from places like Northwestern, San Diego State, St. Mary's and Colorado, in addition to Utah.

Utes head coach Larry Krystkowiak is expected to meet with Allen and his parents in the coming days. The goal is to convince Allen to take an official visit to Utah and decide from there what he wants to do.

The Utes currently have three commitments for next season. Two of them, Parker Van Dyke from East and Brandon Miller from Brighton, are local talents. A third, Delon Wright, is the younger brother of an NBA player, and a 6-foot-6 guard who can play three positions.

With two scholarships remaining, the Utes are expected to target a big man in addition to Allen.
