Watching Utah's loss to USC didn't deter Marcellus Pippins, a 5-foot-9, 165-pound corner out of El Cerrito, Calif., from committing to the Utes. In fact, the game made him want to come to Utah even more before his visit. "That game showed me they don't give up," said Pippins, who committed to Utah on Wednesday. "USC did what they did, but Utah didn't put their head down and they played hard." Pippins said the atmosphere also sold him on Utah. "It was electric," he said. "The fans were great." Pippins, who also plays basketball, is an aggressive corner and could do well in Utah's system. However, he said he still plans to take other visits. "I'm looking," he said. "But right now, it's Utah." - Lya Wodraska
