Rich Wyman is one of the most respected musicians in the local music scene, which helps explain why Utah musicians Lisa Needham, Terence Hansen, Rehan Jacob, Eric Munoz, George T. Gregory, Joy & Eric, Shaky Trade, Ricardo Romero, Liz Anderson and David Rolfe will join Wyman onstage for his CD release party for “Good Company.” A dueling piano player at Keys on Main, Wyman is also the recipient of 10 ASCAP Awards. In an interview with The Tribune, the rocking piano man first came to Park City in 1990 on a ski trip, and for the most part never left. Living in Park City led to a moment that “changed his life” — finding himself at the same dinner party as Eddie Van Halen, and ending up bonding over music. Van Halen and Wyman wrote songs together that ended up becoming the foundation of Wyman’s second album, the two have remained friends over the years. A consummate show man, Wyman will debut songs from “Good Company,” an album that was three years in the making.
