Fridays with Faculty - Michael Chikinda

Nightmare on 13th

Nightmare on 13th will open for the 2012 Halloween season on Sept. 14, with three new nightmares: "NetherBeast," "Cirque Du Fear" and "Zombie Apocalypse." Patrons will receive a wristband and be admitted to all three nightmares for $20. Wristbands can also be used to bounce back to the nightmare for $5 on a "bounce back" night, but only if the wristband has not been removed. National Public Lands Day

Food Film Series - Bananas!

Westminster College's Environmental Center and Organic Garden present the 2nd Annual Food Film Series. This is a documentary about a lawsuit between Dole Food Company and banana plantation workers in Nicaragua over use of a pesticide known to cause sterility. Westminster Professor Luis Pradanos-Garcia will speak on equity and globalization of the food system.
