A Utah Department of Agriculture and Food employee died in a single vehicle rollover in Duchesne County Friday morning.

Robert L. Ivie, 56, was conducting livestock predator control work on Moon Ranch in the Wolf Creek Pass area when his truck went off a gravel road and rolled down a steep embankment, according a release from UDAF.

Ivie had worked 18 years for the state and was participating in a cooperative program with the U.S. Department of Agriculture that hunts and traps livestock predators. He was married and is survived by three children and eight grandchildren.
