It has to be quick today, because I'm about to head up to the U. for coach Kyle Whittingham's weekly press conference, where we will hopefully get some clarity on the status of junior quarterback Jordan Wynn. The depth chart released by the team today does not inlude Wynn, although that does not necessarily mean the four-year starter is out for Saturday's game against BYU.

Even if he's healthy, should Wynn get the start? A lot of debate on that one.

[Update: It's a moot point. Wynn has essentially retired from football.]

The Utes aren't the only team with quarterback issues. After losing 30-28 to Sacramento State on Saturday, Colorado may soon turn to sophomore QB Connor Woods. But it's not like Colorado hasn't gone through hard times before.
