Pulitzer Prize-winning Mormon author Laurel Thatcher Ulrich told
The Salt Lake Tribune last week that she sees the LDS Church's biggest gender issue as what she calls “the great disappearance.”
By that, Ulrich meant “the loss of women's voices, faces and bodies beyond the ward level.”
So here's the question: Who is the most visible, well-known woman in the LDS Church?
Is it Deseret Book CEO Sheri Dew? Singer-convert Gladys Knight? First lady hopeful Ann Romney? Former Relief Society General President Julie Beck? Old standby Marie Osmond? Writer, columnist and commenter Joanna Brooks? Someone else?
Tell me who you think it is and why.
