A 58-year-old painter remained in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit of Intermountain Medical Center in Murray on Thursday, the day after he fell from scaffolding while working in Bluffdale.

Saratoga Springs police Cpl. Shane Taylor said that due to an ongoing investigation by his department and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the man's identity was still being withheld.

The painter fell about 11 feet around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, hitting his head on concrete below. He was working on a two-story garage near 1600 Lois Meadow Court at the time.
