Why doesn't stuff like this ever happen in the Tribune newsroom?
Work at the Washington Post's newsroom ground to a halt Tuesday, when celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz and actual celebrity Robert Redford showed up for a photo shoot.
Also getting their pictures taken were the three people most responsible for the Post's legendary coverage of the Watergate scandal: Reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, and editor Ben Bradlee.
The shoot is for a documentary, being produced by Redford (who played Woodward in "All the President's Men"), about Watergate 40 years later. It's set to air next January on the Discovery Channel.
Of course, in this day and age, Leibovitz is never the only photographer in the room -- as many Post staffers whipped out their cameraphones and posted pictures online.
