You can stay home and watch fireworks. It's not the same as seeing them in person, but at least it won't set any more of Utah on fire.

A Capitol Fourth (7 and 8:30 p.m., PBS/Ch. 7; 8 p.m. PBS/Ch. 11): Performers include Phillip Phillips, Matthew Broderick, Kelli O'Hara, Megan Hilty, Javier Colon, Josh Turner, Kool & the Gang, and the National Symphony Orchestra. Tom Bergeron hosts.

Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular (9 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): The Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra performs amid pyrotechnics.

Futurama (11 p.m., Comedy Central): Bender becomes a member of the paparazzi.

The Real World (11 p.m., MTV): Laura and Trey kiss; Robb and Marie continue to flirt; the roommates try to include Brandon.

The Soul Man (11 p.m., TV Land): The choir director wants to bring in ringers for a competition.
