Utah Gov. Gary Herbert pardons Lucky Tom, a 47-pound Norbest turkey from Moroni Feed Company, at Thanksgiving Point on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011. Lucky Tom was the first ever pardoned turkey in Utah and will live the rest of his life at Thanksgiving Point.
Turkeys aren’t just for Thanksgiving anymore. At least not at Thanksgiving Point.
Monday is turkey night in Lehi. (And June is Turkey Lover’s Month nationally.)
To celebrate, kids and their parents are invited to meet the birds, learn about them, play turkey trivia and have some turkey fun.
Admission is $5, and the event runs from 5-7 p.m. Gobble, gobble!
