The Joffrey Ballet is considered one of the most revolutionary groups in American dance.

See how they got that way in “Joffrey: Mavericks of American Dance,” a documentary screening Tuesday, June 19, at the City Library auditorium, 210 E. 400 South, Salt Lake City.

After the screening, Ballet West artistic director Adam Sklute, a former associate artistic director at the Joffrey, will talk in person about his experiences.

The screening, presented by the Utah Film Center and Ballet West, starts at 7 p.m.

Admission is free.
