Here's your weekly roundup of what local city councils, school boards and other government entities are tackling during regularly scheduled meetings. All meetings are open to the public, and citizens are welcome to voice their opinions during designated times. If you do wish to speak at a particular meeting, you may need to sign up in advance.

Centerville City Council • Will hold a public hearing on a recommendation by the police chief for a hunting ban in the area between the Legacy Parkway and the Sheep Road and between 1275 North and the northern city limit; Tuesday, June 19, 7 p.m., 250 N. Murray City Council • Will receive comment and vote on the 2013 budget, which includes a 3 percent cost of living increase for employees; Tuesday, June 19, 6:30 p.m., 5025 S. State St., Murray. View the Murray agenda.

Ogden City Council • Will vote on the fiscal 2013 budget, which includes a 1 percent bonus for all full-time workers except for department directors and elected officials. Salt Lake City Council • Is poised to adopt a $205.8 million budget for the 2013 fiscal year; Tuesday, June 19, 7 p.m., Room 351, City Hall, 451 S. State St., Salt Lake City.

Salt Lake County Council • Will consider potential midyear revisions to the 2012 budget, a proposal to put a $123 million bond for parks on the November ballot and the hiring of a consultant to evaluate the possibility of building a downtown convention-center hotel; Tuesday, June 19, 9:45 a.m., Room 2003, North Building, County Government Center, 2001 S. State St., Salt Lake City. Decisions about the parks bond and the hotel consultant also are scheduled to be part of the council's formal 4 p.m. meeting. View the Salt Lake County agenda.
