Mia Love's inadvertent tweet

The Twitter fight over who won the radio showdown between Sen. Orrin Hatch and challenger Dan Liljenquist was largely predictable. But one missive from the official account of congressional candidate Mia Love sure got my attention.

It said: "I love when Hatch's ppl are forced to use Liberal talking points! How sad :)"

Mia Love tweet

The tweet refers to a back and forth over Hatch's age, where Liljenquist supporters claimed he had some "senior moments" in the debate, and a Hatch supporter accused them of supporting "death panels," a reference to a talking point in the health reform debate a few years back.

Love's tweet clearly supports the Liljenquist camp, which is what made it interesting. Up until this point, she has dodged any question about Utah's Senate contest vowing to stay neutral until the party picks its man.

Within seconds, the Love campaign deleted the tweet and wrote: "The last tweet was not represented by the campaign or sent by Mia at all. This is a staff issue. Thank you."

Thank you, anonymous Love staffer for livening up the predictable Twitter scrum.
