Happy National Trails Day, Utah.

There are events Saturday from Logan to Kanab. Some events are group hikes. Other festivities include trail maintenance and even weed pulling.

Celebrate how you see fit. Here are ways how.

The American Hiking Society website has a complete listing of hiking-oriented trail activities. Be sure to look at it if you're trying to find something near you.

Wondering how National Trails Day got it's start. According to the Hiking Society, you can credit (or blame) President Reagan.
