The fourth annual Brewfest will be at Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort this year with a new "Brewer Dinner," where reps from local breweries will assist with food and beer pairings, and the DJs from "Radio from Hell" will be mingling. "The Brewer Dinner is a great opportunity to socialize with other beer enthusiasts, and meet the Radio from Hell crew and some of the best brewers in the state," said Bret Johnson, Snowbird's Director of Food and Beverage, in a press release. "Brewfest is a great way to spend Father's Day, with activities for the entire family." Snowbird chefs will create brew-inspired food for the Brewer Dinner, paired with beer from Ruby River, Hoppers, Uinta, Epic, Wasatch, Squatters and Bohemian breweries.

Each attendee will receive a Snowbird Aerial Tram foot passenger ticket and a Brewfest mug.

The Brewer Dinner will be served buffet-style on the Atrium patio at The Cliff Lodge on June 16 from 6-10 p.m. Dinner and beer will cost $49 per person, or enjoy both dinner and a night at The Cliff Lodge for $99 per person. On Saturday and Sunday, June 16 and 17, from noon to 7 p.m., Brewfest will feature ten local breweries offering samples of their beer. Participating breweries include Bohemian, Red Rocks, Uinta, Hoppers, Ruby River, Moab, Wasatch, Squatters, Roosters, and Epic.

Brewfest will take place on the Plaza Deck and the Upper Circle at the Snowbird Center.

Admission is free, and each 3-ounce sample of 3.2 beer is $1. Important: Beer with more than 3.2 percent alcohol by weight may cost more. Snowbird will provide food stations on Saturday and a special Father's Day barbecue will be available Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Plaza Deck. Barbecue options include watermelon, ginger-honey glazed salmon, Southern-style baby back ribs, corn on the cob, and more. Barbecue tickets include a free Aerial Tram ride. Adults cost $18.95, children age 6-12 cost $10.95, and children age 5 and under are free. The festivities will be complemented by live music from noon to 7 p.m. both days. On Saturday, Folk Hogan, AM Bump Trio, and Bastard Redheads will play. Max Pain and the Groovies, Swagger and Marinade will play Sunday.
