The annual Lamb & Wool Festival is Saturday, March 19, at Thanksgiving Point.

It’s going to get wild and woolly at Thanksgiving Point on Saturday.

Well, it’s going to get woolly.

Thanksgiving Point in Lehi is hosting the Lamb & Wool Festival at Farm Country, a chance for kids to see where their sweaters came from. Farmers will demonstrat the old-fashioned way of shearing sheep; there will be weaving and spinning demonstrations — and kids will get a chance to play with both wool and lambs.

After they’re done petting the lambs, the youngsters and the not-so-youngsters can try their hand at making wool hacky sacks, wool bracelets, wool soap and solar-dyed wool. In addition, there will be pony and wagon rides and storytelling.
